The music on its own, not really, but maybe in combination with some images
This is the one I get the biggest kick out of:
Sergey Prokofiev - The Knights' dance (Juliet and Paris's dance), though it's not made me cry yet

Samuel Barber's Adagio For Strings in Platoon is pretty powerful too

My condolences too Dav13s, and you're right. It's a good attitude to have.
The song that, makes me tear up a bit, well if it's put nicely into a powerful scene in a movie, would be Broken Hallelujah by Leonard Something, forgot his surname, and not too sure if that's the song title, but damn that's one touchy song.

for me it's "Supernatural" by Flyleaf, the acoustic version..
the lyrics and her voice is touchingly beautiful:

VnV Nation : Legion that song just gets under my skin for some odd reason
And this one is not really a sad tears song, but still, You'll never walk alone sung by the liverpool supporters....every time i hear it, it gives me goose bumps, chills down my spine, every hair on my body rises and i just ... cry when i hear it. Heard it once in Anfield road, i couldnt even talk nemore, i just stood there crying of amazement.

Same here -and its twice as good when Liverpool and Celtic fans sing it at the same time -when the whole stadium is singing. Totally awesome
