I feel happy that I have found the best Film/TV sites, but I have not found a really good allround Music site.
What does every one recommend.

Meh, people may have been a little afraid to talk about a direct download site since it could conflict with the rules.... hence we gave you torrent websites :P

I belong to a private Russian web site that covers all kinds of material including music. The site is a real sticker for quality starting right at the beginning with the listing details. While high bit rate mp3s are accepted the preferred format is loseless. I have been able to find not only current releases but also have found immense collections from artists that go back as far as the 60s.
One important thing to remember when asking about music is that everyone has their own definition of what is "good". As I write this I am downloading a Classical piece off of Rapid Share. Most people could care less about Classical music so your "good" site might be very different than mine. I utterly despise Rap or anything even remotely related musically or culturally, if culture is the correct work to use when speaking about Rap, so a site that has an incredible collection or Rap, Hip Hop, etc. would be of zero interest to me although others might consider it essential. And you could apply the same thoughts to any genre. Different strokes for different folks.

I often think it would be a nice idea when someone promotes a certain web site as THE place to go that they should also give a short list of what THEY have found on the site so the reader gets an advance idea of what to expect.

I just search isohunt for the whole discographies mostly, unless its a new album...then ii just download it separately...
And i agree with Ibticktock on the "what you like may not be what i like" i get it alot in school where nearly everyone listens to some crappy hip hop or rap and they just say my music sucks....lolz anywayz i guess isohunt solves that...its more of an ALL rounder..
