Thank you, Dead Romance! I'm gonna stick with this. It's fun to catch the tricks as they're happening. Action! a013.gif

the 3rd shot is the best would have been great if the skater had been looking at the camera but a nice fast shutter shot.

If you wanted any feedback,Personally i would do a little post processing with the levels just to bring out a deeper contrast, straighten the horizon and crop tighter to lose some of the sky. - but thats just a personal view point!

Thanks for your comment and constructive criticism, HHRC! I like to hear what can help my pictures out. I'll mess around with what you suggested.

Peace

Awesome Photo's man.
You should think about building up a black book collection and sending them to a magazine, its worth a try.

Very impressive work mate. Wish you were here in my city at the moment as the Clipsal 500 is on, it's a 4 day car racing meet. Lots of action and colour and the weather is perfect for a photographer yes.gif

Thank you, Bunnygirl! Yeah, that sounds cool! I love making pictures, especially if the weather's nice and the subject is worthy. :-)

Just remember to get model release forms signed if you are planning to sell images to stock librarys!

All the best

That's a great reminder! Thanks.

Nice, but your picture would make more impact and have a 3D effect if you opened the aperture up to its maximum. A long fast lens (2.8) or faster would be your Ideal choice.

If you cant run to this, just open your standard lens up fully and see how that looks.

Depth of field is everything when you need to create an Impact and this type of shot is just ordinary without Impact..... sawink.gif

Edit: I should have said ~ also consider using a circular polariser, it will give you a dramatic effect to your sky and is user adjustable.

This has confirmed that i deffo need to invest in a SLR.

Thoose shots are fantastic
