These shots were took using a Canon EOS 450 D, still trying to get to grips with it though....

Played about with in lightroom

A wee Lochan near Glen Coe Scotland.

Some macro work.

Melrose Abbey, Scotland.

Yes, a great desktop pic. I dont like my desktop to be too dark or too busy - something light and tranquil is my choice.

Great pics - really liked the second shot of the apples. Nice work.

A wee Lochan near Glen Coe Scotland.

This is cool. I would like to see how it looks cropped as an "almost panoramic" shot. Crop the top and bottom so it is equal parts of water and sky, cropping off a little of the left, to bring more attention to the middle and right. Well, there's my constructive criticism. :-)

More macro work, I liked the way this one turned out

Another idea... maybe you could see how it looks with most of the black cropped off, on the right? Would leave less opening and distraction.
