I was wondering if anyone else has watched Blade of the Immortal?

I have not read the Manga yet, but I plan on reading it. I have watched the first 2 episodes of the anime.

My question: Should I stop watching the anime at the moment and read the manga first? I want to get the most
out of the story, I've heard a lot of mixed views on which to watch/read first. A lot of people seem to be saying that
the manga is better.

Your thoughts will help me make up my mind.

so far every anime i have watched, i have been told the read is better. after reading a few lately iam begning to believe them

I guess not many people are interested in it.

I haven't read the manga or watched the anime, so I couldn't say for sure. In my experience though, the manga usually has the better of the story lines, but I don't see that as a reason to stop watching the anime.

I would just finish watching the anime if I was in your shoes. Especially if you have the entire series at your disposal.

Yeah mikedangers, I'm with you on that one man...I think I'll keep watching the anime and then I'll probably check out the manga when I get the chance. Although I've just started watching Hell Girl...seem to be watching about 8 series atm.

Oh Hell Girl!! IFC has been airing that for awhile now. I haven't sat down to watch any yet, but my DVR is set to record them. I'm probably gonna wait until I have the entire series before I start watching it.

Reading is definitely better, plus the art is awesome. :D
