Satoshi Kon - Director/Writer


If you want to watch something that gets inside your head, makes you think and question society, question yourself...you need to watch work by Satoshi Kon.
Kon's films are alternately haunting, thought-provoking, and oddly endearing, and are a must-see for anyone who has simply dismissed animation as child's play or strictly fan-boi territory.

Paprika is the one I would recommend watching first.

By the way, Paranoia Agent is fantastic, it's a mini series only 13 episodes. I can't recommend Kon's work any more highly.
