I wanted to comment on Super Multimedia Converter. Of all the converters I have ever used this is the hands down best for power users it has an impressive number of built in filters, you can input avisynth scripts, you can manual set the frame rates to any number, the list of things this app can do just goes on and on. Until recently I have been using Format Factory which is a very good converter but doesn't have nearly the amount of control of Super.


Format Factory gets 5 STARS. It is a fast, very smart, one click converter that for normal video converting is all you could ask for. Very very n00b friendly.

Super gets 5 STARS. Super is slower than Format Factory but if you are dealing with a problem video this is by far the best choice.

What led me to super was I had some HD video that I wanted to encode to MP4 but it had a frame rate of 59.9fp/s which is way off the charts for any other converter I had found including my beloved FF but Super has preset values up to 60fp/s or you can tick a box that says more choices and it will let you enter a value.

On Supers website they claim "Super does for free what other encoders can't do for money" That is not bragging its fact.

Hi i don't know is it right place to ask my question but i am searching for a free tool that can Print directory contents and folder tree but i didn't find any, i got a recommendation of a tool called "Print Directory"but its not a freeware so can anyone recommend me a freeware, i used this trial and works good but i need a freeware.

GMABooster 2.1

A short preamble is needed to explain what makes a GMABooster technology possible. Let's consider an Intel Graphics Media Accelerator 950 (GMA 950). This integrated solution, while not fully supporting the latest and the most demanding games, still allows a user to enjoy the mass of brilliant gaming hits of all genres. GMA 950 does also fully support Aero and QuartzGL (enhanced GPU-driven user interfaces of Windows Vista and Mac OS X). It features a basic video playback acceleration, as well.

However, if You have own a laptop/netbook/nettop computer built on Intel 945GM/GME/GMS or GSE943/940GML/GU Express chipset, the above statements may not be truth for You. These all chipsets are LV (low voltage) versions of what we normally call Intel 945. Thus, integrated graphics core has been underclocked dramatically: 166/133 MHz instead of 400 MHz (default GMA clock in a "normal" Intel 945 chipset). But the truth is, the indicated devices could handle up to 400 MHz with ease: at a nominal low voltage, without the loss of system stability, and with minimal to none impact on thermal specifications/battery life (proven by preliminary testing).

I prefer free / share ware I'd much rather use something that people themselves chose to share and for me the principle does work as I have chosen to suport and purchase some full versions etc.

The other day I had the need to mount a DVD image as I couldn't find any disks to burn it about this lead me via google to this page

Apparently it may also work for windows 2000 and there is one slight in accuracy in the readme file.

The download is a tiny zip that unarchives to three files a readme the exe and a driver none need to be installed and the inacuracy is that the driver need not be placed anywhere in particular for it to run and despite the name it does suport DVD images too

However, one of the apps listed gave me a nightmare of a time at one point.

Threatfire.

The admin before me thought this was a great product to distribute to the network. However, he did not know that it replaces the default windows keyboard driver with it's own version, to "keep you from getting keyloggers". Unfortunately, once you uninstall the program, it doesn't replace the default driver....so you're left with a lot of end users unable to use their keyboards.

Complete headache.

i just did a google search and yes you are correct there have been issues where some people have removed threat fire and the keyboard driver went with it

it seems that if they remove it in safe mode then hunt out all the associated files thats when the (Tfkbmon )driver goes.
pc,tools say's it is best to use the apps own uninstaler in normal mode ,and dont delete the associated Tfkbmon file

If I had a dime for every time I wished for just this type of program, I'd have a crap load of dimes. Awesome... Duplicate file checker, duplicate folder checker...they suck compared to "Everything". It took less than a minute to find thousands of titles across all my drives so that I can weed out the dupes!

Yes, but if you're scripting the removal via SCCM or some other network management tool, this isn't an option. For home users, I don't doubt it's effectiveness, as it's one of the few that use behavior based scanning effectively. Just wanted to alert you to the hell I had to go through due to this program.

i have over 300 video songs for it,you can get a free app (SS2USConv) that will rip the video-songs from singstar dvd's or you can d/load them from certain sites already ripped if you know what i mean
