This is the first series in a long while thats had me gripped! Each episode just drags me in deeper and deeper. What are your views? is there anything comparable that i'm missing out on? A friend lent me a copy of the first collection over three years ago and i've been hooked ever since.

100 Bullets is comic created by Brian Azzarello and Eduardo Risso, the basic story being that someone who has been wronged is approached by an unknown man who seems to know a lot about them. He then gives them a black attache case containing a completely untraceable gun (any law enforcement agencies looking into a crime committed using this gun will mysteriously drop all investigations), indisputable evidence of who committed the wrong and 100 bullets. The stranger then leaves them to decide whether they want to seek retribution via rough justice or accept what life has given them. And it just gets better and better, some charcters come and go in a few chapters whilst others slowly unravel the real story behind the stranger and his black attache cases.

Enjoy!

bryan azzarello is really great writing 100 bullets but most of the hellblazer issues he has written i didn't like so much. anyway it is a really thrilling series. i hope if they are to make a movie at least make a descent one not like Constantine(from hellblazer).

I was hooked on this title till the late #70's then it just lost the plot totally and imo completely lost its way about the time the issues with the small black child w/ gun came out. theres signs the last few releases will get it back on track but its no longer a must read for me.
Anyone who likes this would probably love Garth Ennis' The Boys.
