OK, I'm a bit new to this.
I DL'd an avi file and the movie runs 2.25 hours and is 2.25G. I tried to burn it to DVD but both programs (idvd and DVD creator) said the file is too long. I tried converting it to .mov but that didn't make a difference.
Can I shorten is or convert it somehow to make this work

All I'm trying to do is get this movie to burn and play on a normal DVD player.

Can someone please help guide me? ShutUp.gif

Thanks

Since you posted this in the Mac forum, you can safely ignore all of the answers you've gotten so far. That's for Windows.

Use VisualHub.

All you do is launch the program, drag your .avi to the dock icon, and it will show up in the main window, Click the button of the format you want to convert to (in this case, DVD), then click Start.

When it's done, you'll have a VIDEO_TS folder that you can burn in Toast to make a DVD that will play in any set-top player.
